About The Position

Boeing’s Phantom Works Space SBMC2 team is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineering Manager based in Colorado Springs, CO . This leader will guide a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting advanced technology development, systems design, and space-ground solutions. The selected candidate will set vision, strategy, and implementation plans while ensuring technical excellence and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture aligned with Boeing’s mission and values. As part of Boeing’s innovative and agile Phantom Works division, the SBMC2 team delivers innovative mission systems and capabilities. This position reports to senior leadership and is responsible for overseeing a team of engineers in the Colorado Springs area. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Colorado Springs, CO. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically depending on business needs. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams or projects
  • Product development and systems engineering experience
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • A final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Pre-Start is required.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
