About The Position

You will be the Multi Functional Manufacturing Manager for the Manufacturing Operations team. Our team is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of a multi‑functional work group, delivering high‑quality products on schedule. Schedule will be 1st Shift (Fri-Sun) As the Multi Functional Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for leading multiple manufacturing functions and driving performance across the team. This role offers the chance to shape a critical manufacturing hub, work directly with senior leadership, and make a measurable impact on product delivery. Requirements

  • Prior demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership characteristics, experience and success in leading teams, managing operations/events, proven capability to manage budgets and schedules, excellent communication skills with presentation to various size groups, and proficient use of computing resources including MS Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience/combined education with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
  • Must obtain an interim clearance prior to starting and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Eight or more years of related experience.
  • Manufacturing and/or defense industry experience.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified.
  • Working knowledge and previous experience managing cost, quality, and schedule metrics.
  • Interest and ability in contributing to growth of team and team members.
  • Excellent oral, active listening, and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee machining, assembly, tool & die, and packaging operations to ensure quality and on‑time delivery.
  • Coordinate recruitment, selection, training, and onboarding of subordinate employees.
  • Conduct performance assessments, assign work, and manage salary and recognition actions.
  • Develop and enforce process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and cross‑functional leaders to align resources with project goals.
