Duties and Requirements of the Job: Performs such individual assignments as the supervisor may direct; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. Troubleshoots, electrical and mechanical to identify equipment or machines in need of repair and makes those repairs. Plans repair work using drawings or equipment manual as needed. Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. Performs routine maintenance of material transfer piping. Welding, fabricating and metal repair of equipment. Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Keeps track of parts in stock. Troubleshoot and solve problems in electrical systems, PLC controls, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Maintain production machinery, electrical & mechanical systems and equipment.
