Description Summary Ensure daily shipping schedule is adhered to with loading times met to prevent detention while safely loading/unloading trailers using a mule while following load out procedures, maintaining a safe working environment, and wrapping pallets by hand. Being responsible for the pre-inspection checklist completion, and charging unit at the end of shift of when is necessary. Work in consistent cold temperature conditions of between 20 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit while wearing proper the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following all safety and food safety requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure daily Shipping schedule is adhered to and all loading times met to prevent detention. Safely load/unload trailers ensuring weight distribution, load integrity, and all shipping instructions are followed. Move finished product from the production line and store it in the correct location. Be certified to operate all equipment and vehicles in a safe manner. Work in areas where you may be required to operate equipment. Conduct cycle counts as needed. Assist in housekeeping required to maintain warehouse area in neat, orderly, and clean condition. Maintains internal and external relationships. Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality. Maintain KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and score cards to drive continuous improvement. Ensure USDA regulatory compliance, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF program quality, and safety. Advocate and maintain a strong commitment to safety in the operating process including but not limited to: PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tag out procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters. Other duties as assigned.
