Vaxcom Services LLC (a Parsons company) is looking for a senior technical consultant to join our team! In this role you will get to support and provide guidance to a national strategic program with high visibility. What You'll Be Doing: Providing in depth and wide ranging technical support to Client objectives. Collaborating with the Client on operational requirements for a specialized, high visibility program. Providing technical guidance at the SME level to both U.S. and non-U.S. entities and personnel both domestically and overseas. Briefing stakeholders at all levels on the progress of program initiatives. Providing hands-on training and guidance to a variety of personnel possessing different levels of expertise. Working as part of a larger team however will also operate independently and be expected to meet program goals at established timeframes. Providing sound judgment, excellent decision making, and the ability to solve problems at the lowest level. Be able to work under pressure and meet close deadlines by multi-tasking. Traveling extensively outside of the U.S. for extended periods of time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (10+ years) in related technical field/industry.
  • Experience working with the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Demonstrated advanced problem solving, judgment, negotiation, and decision making skills.
  • Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and be comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to travel extensively outside of the U.S. for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work effectively with both U.S. Military members and non-U.S. citizens.
  • An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • 15+ years of related experience in a technical field/industry.
  • Previous experience working in US Military special forces.
  • Experience working on large scale programs with competing requirements and deadlines.
  • Experience as a trainer or training manager building/delivering instructional programs.
