MSAT Scientist (m/f/d) Biotechnological production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient

AGC Biologics GmbH in Heidelberg is seeking a scientist for Manufacturing Science and Technology in the field of microbial fermentation and chromatographic purification. This role involves being the first point of contact for external customers and acting as the interface between production and various departments within the company. The main responsibilities include planning and implementing technology transfers, supporting API production processes, preparing production documents, and providing customer support. The ideal candidate should have a PhD in biotechnology or a similar degree, along with enthusiasm for biotechnological processes and the ability to work in a team.

• Independent planning and implementation of the technology transfer
• Process support from start to finish: Transfer, Implementation, Improvement, Evaluation
• Reporting of technology transfer, production batches and campaigns
• Planning and control of API production processes
• Preparation and review of cGMP production documents
• Processing of deviation and investigation reports
• Supporting customers via telephone or on-site visits

• PhD in biotechnology or similar degree or Master and several years of experience
