The Meltshop Support Administrator will be in charge of receiving Meltshop materials, tracking, balancing, and auditing various Meltshop inventory items, and auditing quality systems. This role will work closely with the Meltshop leadership team, teammates, and supporting personnel. Key responsibilities will include tracking and reporting operational data including key performance indicators as well as various clerical responsibilities.  This position will require self-motivation and a drive for continual improvement. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of administrative work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with EBS, QMOS, and/or Power BI systems
