As a MRP Planner, you will drive the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes to ensure timely production and delivery performance aligned with customer expectations. Your work will directly support the strategic alignment of supply and demand, enabling operational excellence and long-range planning.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Working experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Supply Chain or Operations Management experience preferred.
  • Working experience deciphering engineering drawings.
  • Working ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to individuals at all levels as well as to cross-functional groups.
  • Experience with continuous improvement activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production plans for materials planning and SIOP.
  • Develop standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
  • Identify appropriate demand streams and establish data relationship linkages.
  • Interact with product development leaders as well as sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts.
  • Planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
  • Facilitate the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long-term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SI&OP.
  • Execute continuous management of the production plan, including adherence to all required validations using the best information available, in order to provide long range OE and aftermarket demand visibility in support of financial planning, internal and external capacity management, and the overall SI&OP process.
  • Mitigate risk for short term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful customer delivery.
