Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Nice To Haves

  • SAP or equivalent enterprise ERP system knowledge
  • Materials, procurement or supply chain experience
  • Manufacturing Operations experience in similar industry
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Skype, and Teams)
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success
  • Knowledge of working across business areas and interface at all levels of organization

Responsibilities

  • Support Business Unit Manager and Shop Floor Control in the following activities:
  • Developing tactical monthly, 3 month plan & performance to annual plan for entire product line assigned
  • Develop material release strategies to support monthly, quarterly and annual performance plans
  • Escalation to HSMC-S senior leadership as required of risk to delivery commitments and impact to program
  • Participate on program escalation calls as needed for critical hardware and collaborate with Ops to develop burndown plans and tracking associated
  • Collaborate with castings team to release material in a timely fashion or replan with operations leadership if material is constrained.
  • Participate and support SIOP vetting and long range planning (LRP) planning processes that yield overall material strategy and commitments to our customers
  • Support HSMC South key objectives including on time starts, lead time reductions, inventory initiatives, lean initiatives & drive alignment between key stakeholders.
