About The Position

We are seeking candidates for the position of MRP Planner/ Scheduler at the Indianapolis site. The Program Scheduler professional understands and applies material management principles that enable them to develop solutions to a variety of problems. MRP Planners/ Schedulers are divided across three different focus areas for Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Repair Planning. Essential Tasks: The following is a sample of the various tasking required of the MRP Planner/Scheduler. The omission of specific responsibilities does not exclude them from the position if the tasking is comparable or logically associated to the position. Master Data Management: Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other master data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Production Planning & Coordination: Monitoring material availability, coordinating activities between different groups, and ensuring teams are focused on factory priorities. Work Order Management: Analyzing production schedules and releasing work orders to the factory floor. Data Integrity & Discrepancy Reporting: Identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in inventory, material availability, and production records. SAP S/4HANA Support: Providing technical support to end-users for the SAP S/4HANA application suite, troubleshooting system issues, and resolving errors in a timely manner. Assisting in system testing and developing training documentation and resources for end-users on new SAP functionalities or process changes. Communication & Reporting: Providing status updates on program progress to management and updating information within SAP. Perform related work as required.

Requirements

  • Material planning and order execution experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely proficient with production planning systems, specifically MRP
  • Understanding of Production Planning concepts including MRP and Inventory Management (SAP S/4HANA or similar)
  • Ability to read and understand requirements detailed on drawings.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related field or a minimum of four years of relevant work experience in a production and/or depot repair environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting operations within a Depot-level Repair environment.
  • Familiarity with the unique requirements and processes of government contracts and programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines as well as effectively communicate within a teaming environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
