MRI Technologist - Flower Hospital - Radiology
About The Position
MRI Technologists play a significant role in patient care by delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, which enables healthcare providers to make informed decisions regarding patient treatment and management. In this role, the technologist is responsible for selecting the proper technical factors based on the patient's procedure, diagnosis, age, size, weight, anatomical differences, and general health status. The position also requires demonstrating the knowledge to identify educational needs, obtain a patient’s history, and use easily understood terminology when explaining procedures and care to patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be registered by the ARRT.
- If registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting the position.
- Must be licensed by state where or ARDMS (American registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).
- Current CPR
Responsibilities
