About The Position

The Imaging Department MRI Technologist under general direction of the Lead MRI Technologist performs MRI exams and related activities.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• graduation from an A.R.R.T. accredited school of X-Ray Technology
• A.R.R.T. registration in radiography
• current Mississippi State Board of Health registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist
• CPR for health care workers
• ability to work independently and with limited supervision

Nice To Haves

• One to three years experience performing MRI and/or three to five years experience performing CT scans
• strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• A.R.R.T. certification in MRI
