For more information about the company and product line visit: www.sigsauer.com Position Summary: The MRB Coordinator II is responsible for keeping up with the influx of non-conforming product, keeping track of inventory, as well as evaluating and transacting product in a timely manner. This individual will collaborate with internal Quality team members from all SIG locations, Assembly Inspectors, and Engineering . FLSA: Non-exempt

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to be range certified.
  • Ability to use PC systems, copiers, and programs including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as skills in MRP systems (Oracle).
  • Has earned PPI Certification.
  • Ability to participate in engineering root cause and troubleshooting processes, PPI projects, 5s workplace organizational activities, and maintain the area in good working order.
  • Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
  • Complete most tasks ahead of time.
  • Communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action.

Responsibilities

  • Verification of products rejected for cosmetics fail per SIG standard SIG5-067.
  • Meet with AQE when multiple of the same failure is found.
  • Initiate problem-solving processes and partner to figure out root cause of issues.
  • Has responsibility for scrap metrics.
  • Verification that the product disposition has been filled out properly and train the appropriate party when error is found.
  • Keep accurate counts of parts and accurately transacting them in the system including serial numbers.
  • Anything over 30 days is consistently acted upon.
  • Connect with stakeholders or elevate issues to management if products are not moving.
  • Help to train staff on all processes.
  • Create NMRs and move product into the correct physical location.
  • Responsible for keeping track of NMRs and communicating with management when the product is aging.
  • Assist in creating working documents and maintain the integrity of receipt numbers.
  • Maintaining lot control of government product.
  • Responsible for ensuring materials are moving in a timely manner and kept separate from other product.
  • Engage in and actively volunteer for Continuous Improvement projects and tasks.
  • Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
  • Follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
  • Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
  • May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
  • May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
