For more information about the company and product line visit: www.sigsauer.com Position Summary: The MRB Inspector I is learning to be responsible for keeping up with the influx of non-conforming product, tracking of inventory, as well as evaluating and transacting product in a timely manner. This position conducts inspections and/or verifications of non-conforming product and performs sort jobs daily. The MRB Inspector I collaborates with internal Quality team members from all SIG locations, Assembly Inspectors, Machine Operators, and Engineering. FLSA: Non-exempt

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience.
Ability to be range certified.
Ability to use PC systems, copiers, and programs including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook as well as skills in MRP systems (Oracle).
Work toward achieving PPI Certification.
Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
Strong time management skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action.
Ability to learn from experienced inspectors and/or supervision and on the job.
Basic familiarity with GD&T.

Responsibilities

Collect inspection data when asked and shown by Inspectors or Engineers.
Perform some independent data collection on sort jobs.
Assist the MRB team in identification of dimensional issues.
Locate appropriate programs, load components into inspection equipment, run basic inspection programs, and report results with supervision.
Learn how to identify good and bad parts.
Learn the product disposition process.
Keep accurate counts of parts and accurately transact them in the system.
Create NMRs and move product into the correct physical location.
Assist in maintaining the integrity of working documents and receipt numbers.
Engage in Continuous Improvement projects and tasks.
Follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
