About The Position

MQ25 Manufacturing Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a First Line Manufacturing Manager to support the MQ-25 team in Berkeley, MO or Mascoutah, IL. Position Responsibilities: · Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. · Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. · Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. · Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. · Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. · Manages, develops and motivates employees · Availability to work off shifts as needed This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 2+ years’ experience working with or supporting military aircraft
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Previous knowledge / experience with LEAN and 5S activities
  • Experience with military aircraft maintenance and ramp operations
  • Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
