As an MPX PMO Researcher, you’ll help build the foundation for progressive victories nationwide—driving a major research initiative to identify and organize political contacts and campaign data across all 50 states. Your work will directly fuel outreach and growth for MPX and our partner, Campaign X Collective (CXC).

Requirements

  • Tenacious, detail-oriented, and self-driven
  • Comfortable with repetitive research and data entry
  • Strong problem-solving mindset—actively seeks ways to improve efficiency
  • Familiar with digital tools, online databases, and basic financial data
  • Genuine interest in the political/progressive space (political experience is a plus, not a must)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Interested in expanding your skills and earnings by taking on additional research contracts through MPX, as capacity allows
  • Ready to challenge groupthink and bring new ideas to the table
  • Able to work independently with flexible hours, but willing to check in 1–2x/week (hybrid preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct open-source, internet-based research to identify candidates, contacts, and campaign data in all 50 states
  • Build and maintain a robust database in Google Sheets and our CRM
  • Analyze campaign finance reports and extract key data
  • Collaborate with leadership and sales team to support outreach efforts
  • Proactively suggest and implement process improvements, including use of AI tools
  • Meet weekly KPIs and deliver accurate, actionable data
