Move Supervisor
About The Position
As the Move Supervisor, you lead and work alongside a crew of movers to ensure job are completed safely and efficiently. You manage day‑to‑day activity on job sites, follow move plans, keep the crew on track, and ensure a smooth experience for the customer. You are responsible for safety, quality of work, and communicating job progress to the Operations Manager. Why Join Meyer? Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in moving, logistics, or warehouse operations; supervisory experience required
- Ability to read and follow move plans
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT safety standards
- Professional, reliable, and customer‑focused.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when needed.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise movers during relocations
- Conduct daily job site meetings
- Manage on-site logistics and crew assignments
- Ensure proper handling of furniture, IT equipment, and materials
- Serve as on-site client contact
- Report progress and issues to operations
- Complete paperwork (timesheets, damage reports, etc.)
- Enforce safety and DOT compliance
- Train crew on techniques and standards
- Assist with inventory, materials, and equipment
