Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC or Milford, MI three times per week, at minimum. The Role This position is part of GM Motorsports Performance Engineering and will support the IMSA and WEC Sportscar programs. The team is responsible for enhancing on-track performance by guiding long-term vehicle development and delivering event-specific recommendations on vehicle configuration, setup, and race strategy to supported teams. In this role, you will contribute to achieving program objectives through in-depth analysis across multiple domains, including vehicle dynamics, simulation model correlation and refinement, data interpretation from on-track, rig, and Driver-in-the-Loop (DIL) testing, methods development, and competitor analysis and reporting. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with internal GM Motorsports teams, maintaining alignment with race team personnel, and occasional travel to race and test events.
