This individual will be responsible for processing first mortgage products, will be accurate with file submission, compliance, and timeliness of processing/closing. Includes knowing the guidelines and requirements for each product and investor we work with. In this role you will initiate, track and collect the proper documentation necessary for the mortgage loan process. You'll assure that all the necessary components of a mortgage loan file are secured, organized and maintained throughout the origination process. Further, you'll be responsible for filing assembly and submission to underwriting, as well as completing closing packages. Finally, you will support the efforts of the mortgage loan team with activities and projects as assigned. In addition, you will have exceptional telephone communication, follow-through and interpersonal skills. Problem solving, including working with loan officers, members, underwriters, and closers to clear conditions or determining program guidelines is a must. And lastly, expect to assist the loan officers in communicating with a borrower as a supporting member of their team.
