What You’ll Do: Responsible for assisting in origination of residential mortgage loans as well as lot loans. Sourcing both internal and external HELOC opportunities. Conducts initial pre-qualification interviews and prepares complete loan application packages and necessary documentation. Convey policies for extension of credit in accordance with Credit Union and secondary investor guidelines. Meet Mortgage Loan scheduling and documentation requirements, and production expectations as determined by the Regional Mortgage Sales Manager. Establish internal relationships with existing members and team members. Establish perspective relationships to align with the growth and retention of the RCU mortgage department with the focus on HELOC growth. What’s Needed For This Position: High School Diploma or Equivalent Two (2) years related experience working in a financial institution or other related sales/customer service position Must be bondable upon hire NMLS Certification Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of financial services and basic accounting principles, with the ability to comply with all federal and state regulations. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, to support Members and team members. Strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize, multi-task, and work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities. Analytical and critical thinking skills to make decisions regarding complex daily work, resolve recurring problems, and identify sales opportunities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and produce accurate, high-quality materials and transactions. We’d Love To See: Two (2) years of experience working in Mortgage Origination or Processing Work Schedule: [Full-Time/Part-Time], working approximately 40 hours per week. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two (2) years related experience working in a financial institution or other related sales/customer service position
  • Must be bondable upon hire
  • NMLS Certification
