Role Summary We are seeking a mortgage loan administrator/processor to join our Mortgage Passport team. This position requires thorough knowledge of loan products and the ability to manage a large pipeline of loan applications. This role is hybrid, where you will work 3 days in our Corporate Campus office (7007 Broadway Ave, Cleveland, OH 44105), and 2 days remote. Work hours are generally scheduled Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, but does require some Saturdays.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to understand the customer needs and successfully build professional relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
  • Positive, proactive, and friendly interpersonal skills are required
  • PC proficiency required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to consistently deliver first class customer service

Nice To Haves

  • DU loan experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience following loan applications from origination through closing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manages loan applications originated in the Mortgage Passport Department as well as those generated by our Broker Partners, via the online channel and possibly over the phone
  • Perform business development tasks, managing pipeline volume and maintaining communication with customers and external loan officers throughout their transaction
  • Communicate with applicant to explain product terms, gather personal data and answer questions relating to their refinance, purchase, preapproval or equity transaction
  • Communicate with external loan officers to educate on product benefits, process standards, and troubleshooting loan scenarios.
