Mortgage Disclosure and Closing Specialist Location: On‑Site (Uptown, Dallas) Employment Type: Full Time Compensation: $55K + Bonus MCI Mortgage is the preferred lending partner for Megatel Homes, a rapidly growing Dallas–Fort Worth homebuilder. We support a steady pipeline of new home purchases, giving team members a stable, builder-focused lending environment. Our close collaboration with builder partners, loan teams, and settlement providers ensures timely closings and exceptional borrower service. Job Overview This role manages the preparation of Loan Estimates (LE) and Closing Disclosures (CD) in full TRID compliance. The specialist serves as the main contact for disclosure accuracy, timely delivery, and alignment with loan terms and settlement figures. The position works with loan officers, processors, title companies, and borrowers to support compliant on‑time closings. Experience preparing LE and CD in Encompass is required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of mortgage closing, disclosure preparation, or mortgage operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of TRID regulations and disclosure timing requirements
  • Experience preparing Loan Estimates (LE) and Closing Disclosures (CD) within the Encompass loan origination system
  • Knowledge of RESPA and mortgage closing procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FHA, VA, and Conventional loan products
  • Familiarity with MERS registration and transfer processes
  • Understanding of investor delivery and post-closing documentation
  • Exposure to mortgage regulatory audits or compliance reviews

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact responsible for preparing and delivering Loan Estimates (LE) and Closing Disclosures (CD).
  • Prepare, review, and deliver initial, revised, and final disclosures in compliance with TRID timing requirements.
  • Ensure disclosures accurately reflect loan terms, fees, and settlement figures.
  • Communicate with borrowers regarding disclosure documents and respond to related questions.
  • Monitor disclosure timelines to ensure compliance with TRID waiting periods and regulatory deadlines.
  • Coordinate with title companies and settlement agents to balance closing figures.
  • Review settlement statements and lender fees to ensure accuracy prior to closing.
  • Assist with preparation of loan closing packages and funding documentation.
  • Prepare wire requests and verify supporting documentation.
  • Review closed loan files for completeness and compliance.
  • Assist with resolving post-closing conditions and trailing documents.
  • Support MERS registration and transfer processes.
  • Assist with investor delivery requirements and documentation.
  • Ensure all disclosure and closing processes comply with TRID, RESPA, and applicable federal, state, and investor requirements.
  • Support documentation requests related to regulatory audits or compliance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with company compliance policies.
