A Mortgage Closing/Operations Support Specialist is responsible for assisting and supporting multiple roles across the mortgage team. This position will assist in the timely and accurate preparation of final closing loan documents. This includes inputting and validating data to ensure accurate final calculations and loan information, reviewing and addressing title issues prior to closing, and personally handling the loan from the initial Closing Disclosure to document preparation and funding. This role will also provide additional coverage and support for multiple functions throughout mortgage operations that cover early disclosures, adverse action review, funding, and post-closing. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical and possesses strong written, verbal, and organizational skills. They should be comfortable communicating effectively and in a professional manner. This candidate should enjoy a diverse role with opportunities to participate in a broad range of operational support roles in mortgage. Additionally, they should be and stay current with industry guidelines updates.
