About The Position

Job Purpose Assist the driver in the safe operation of the assigned route and support student management as defined by the school. Key Responsibilities Learn and follow assigned routes using route sheets or electronic routing devices Manage student behavior and communicate any concerns or incidents to the driver Assist with pre‑trip and post‑trip bus inspections, including child checks, CSRS, and wheelchair lifts Support students during loading and unloading, including operation of wheelchair lifts Maintain positive communication with school personnel, parents, and students Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions Assist with emergency evacuations, including use of emergency exits Clean the interior of the bus, including sweeping, dusting, and cleaning windows Perform additional duties or specialized functions as required by contract Minimum Education & Certifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Requirements & Expectations Strong verbal communication skills Ability to work early morning hours Maintain a professional, respectful attitude toward coworkers, students, parents, and customers Dress in a professional and appropriate manner for a business environment Perform all job duties safely, adhering to OSHA guidelines and applicable federal and state laws Follow all company policies and procedures Ability to use, or willingness to learn, internet‑based systems, required software programs, and office equipment (e.g., phones, fax machines, and other electronic devices) Why Join Us?
