Mold Utility - B Shift
About The Position

This role, a Mold Utility on B Shift, is responsible for safely operating equipment, producing quality products, performing quality checks, changeovers, SAP data entries, and basic troubleshooting. The position requires compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, best practices, and all safety regulations. Regular, punctual attendance is essential, and the individual must uphold BD Values. The company prioritizes on-site collaboration to foster creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, requiring a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week for most roles.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED preferred
- In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience is required
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area
- Willingness and ability to train others
- Teamwork skills
- Organization skills, detailed oriented
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Previous experience with MES
- Previous experience with precision measuring instruments
Responsibilities
- Work as one of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, which includes product inspection, operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements and clean room area and equipment cleaning / sanitizing
- Perform visual inspections
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment
- Perform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning
- Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment
- Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks
- Perform rework
- Cross train where needed within the department to support the business
- Maintain all quality and GMP standards
- Perform needed SAP data entries
- May require the use of 10x microscope, calipers, and/or other miscellaneous gauges
- Participate on blitz teams as assigned
- Achieving established production goals
- Ensuring the quality of all product produced
- Performing quality checks as designated
- Ability to function as part of a team
- Processing SAP and MES transactions for department
- Assisting in the BDA process to identify root causes
- Maintain compliance with all required document training
- Operate lines in a safe and efficient manner
- Drive department results by reducing downtime and completing tasks in an efficient manner
- Maximize efficient time usage in the department
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business
