About The Position

To set and/or hang molds in the injection molding machines in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Duties and Responsibilities: Hang tool and/or mold in level position and set parameters in a timely manner during mold set-ups. Insert mold set-ups. Set up driers and thermolators. Keep mold storage, secondary equipment storage and mold crib clean and organized. Read and understand BOM’s (Bill of Materials) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure correct inserts for molds are input for scheduled production run. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year molding experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Knowledge of mold hanging/setting process
• Forklift License (TTI will train)
• Candidate must be able to identify and distinguish colors, stand for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., reach hands and arms in any directions and kneel/stoop repeatedly
• Frequent use of drill drivers is required in Assembly process.
• A drug screen is required prior to employment.
• A physical may also be required as employment terms.
