About The Position
The Mold Setter is responsible for setting up, changing, and maintaining molds used in the manufacturing of automotive components. This role ensures molds are installed correctly, production runs smoothly, and quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous mold setting or injection molding experience preferred
- Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up, change, and secure molds according to production schedules
- Adjust molding machines and related equipment to ensure proper operation
- Perform basic troubleshooting and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect molds for wear, damage, or defects and report issues
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
