To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com I LinkedIn I Glassdoor I Facebook I YouTube Job Description Summary Work in a neat and orderly manner Repair molds in accordance with Tool Shop Work Instructions Work with more advanced associates to accomplish repairs Work with a variety of associates within Berry to accomplish organized objectives Tear down and assemble molds Change core inserts & orifice sizes Troubleshoot mold problems Use precision tools and bench work Understanding workings of molds Clean Shop as needed Be able to lead a repair operation and keep it moving toward completion Analyze parts and plan repair procedures Detect possible future problems or existing problems during the course of preventive maintenance Follows applicable Food Safety and cGMP polices.

Requirements

  • Machine shop
  • Mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry)
  • Ability to run conventional machine shop machines (including CNC equipment)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Responsibilities

  • Work in a neat and orderly manner
  • Repair molds in accordance with Tool Shop Work Instructions
  • Work with more advanced associates to accomplish repairs
  • Work with a variety of associates within Berry to accomplish organized objectives
  • Tear down and assemble molds
  • Change core inserts & orifice sizes
  • Troubleshoot mold problems
  • Use precision tools and bench work
  • Understanding workings of molds
  • Clean Shop as needed
