Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Previous mold setting experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Change molds as scheduled or required by breakdowns
Make necessary connections/disconnections needed for mold changes
Prep machine platens for mold set activity.
Follow all set up instructions documented in the mold book per tool.
Ensure that mold carts, hose area, and all other mold setting areas are clean, stocked, and organized
Repair / inspect any electrical, water, and pneumatic circuits as needed per tool.
Operate and understand all lifting devices and overhead crane for installation and removal of all mold tools.
Document all mold change activity in the shopfloor reporting system.
Document mold locations per each activity in the mold book.
Follow all Safety and Production related procedures, i.e, cGMP, HAACP, ISO, SQF, OSHA
