Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Demonstrated focus and adherence to safety policies
  • Manufacturing experience, with mold setting strongly preferred
  • Problem Solving; identify and resolve problems in a timely manner/ gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Communication; ability to read and interpret written information and communicate with team members skillfully and routinely
  • Teamwork; contribute to building a positive team effort
  • Judgement; exhibit sound and accurate judgment/support and explain reasoning for decisions/include appropriate people in decision-making process

Responsibilities

  • Change molds as scheduled or required by breakdowns
  • Make necessary connections/disconnections needed for mold changes
  • Prep machine plates for mold set activity
  • Follow all set up instructions documented in the mold book
  • Ensure that mold carts, hose area, and all other mold setting areas are clean, stocked, and organized
  • Repair / inspect any electrical, water, and pneumatic circuits as needed
  • Operate and understand all lifting devices and overhead crane for installation and removal of all mold tools
  • Document all mold change activity in the shopfloor reporting system
  • Document mold locations per each activity in the mold book
  • Follow all Safety and Production related procedures, i.e, cGMP, HAACP, ISO, SQF, OSHA
  • Other duties as assigned
