The Mobility Technician performs designated routine patient mobilization tasks. These duties are supportive in nature and are carried out only under the on-site supervision of a delegating nurse or therapist. The position explicitly does not involve interpreting referrals, performing evaluation procedures, initiating or adjusting treatment programs, assuming responsibility for planning patient care, or discussing medical diagnoses with patients. Key responsibilities include coordinating daily unit-specific patient mobilization activities and documenting in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), along with other assigned duties.
