Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technicians (MAVTs) are responsible for transporting private patients and patients from skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities who are wheelchair bound or who are ambulatory but need assistance via devices. MAVTs are responsible for the safe transport and care of these patients throughout the duration of an appointment, doctor's office, dialysis treatments, physical therapy and/or other medically needed reasons.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician certification
  • Current and valid Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card
  • Valid Driver's License
  • CEVO certification must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Must have a good driving history within the past 3 years

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as an MAVT in preferred

Responsibilities

  • Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technicians (MAVTs) are responsible for transporting private patients and patients from skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities who are wheelchair bound or who are ambulatory but need assistance via devices.

Benefits

  • Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $18.28.
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
