About The Position

J.C. Lewis Motor Co. is looking for a skilled Mobile Service Technician who wants to bring their expertise directly to customers at their home or workplace. This is a scheduled, route-based role — no on-call stress — giving you the freedom to work efficiently while providing top-notch service. You’ll handle routine maintenance, diagnostics, brake repairs, pre- and post-collision scans, and other mechanical and electrical work. Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Master technician skills with the ability to work independently
Strong mechanical and automotive competencies; electrical knowledge preferred
Professional attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace

Nice To Haves

ASE and I-CAR certifications desired but not required
Computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations using a fully equipped mobile service van.
Perform maintenance, mechanical, and electrical repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Conduct pre- and post-collision scans and calibrations.
Provide brake repairs, replacements, welding, and diesel engine maintenance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
Document work performed and recommended services using company software.
Maintain and operate tools, equipment, and company-issued service vehicle safely.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members.
Supervise apprentice technicians, report equipment defects, and maintain manuals/tools.
Ensure compliance with environmental policies, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
