About The Position

Barren River Health Department is looking to hire 2-part time people to drive a Mobile Health Unit (20 to 22 hours a week). This position does not require a CDL license. Candidates must possess valid driver’s licenses and successfully pass a health screening. DOT medical card will be required. Common knowledge of operating sprinter type or similar vehicles. Duties will include - driving Mobile unit to events, setting up and breaking down mobile unit. - keeping mobile unit clean and scheduling all maintenance services. - servicing/ detailing our agency vehicles. This position will require some evening and weekends, along with normal business hour events. The Kentucky Department for Public Health (DPH) is responsible for developing and operating state public health programs and activities for the citizens of Kentucky.
