About The Position

Do you want to make a difference and get your foot in the door with the State of Nebraska? DHHS is seeking a Resource Developer. This position is within the MLTC Division. Are you a results-driven professional with an eye for detail with a desire to help people live better lives? If so, we need you! The Medicaid Long Term Care Resource Developer works with several programs within DHHS, including; Medicaid Long Term Care, Social Services Aged and Disabled, and Aged and Disabled Waiver program. The MLTC Resource Developer enrolls independent providers to assist customers with services needed, such as transportation, respite services, chore services, and basic household tasks; monitors provider contracts, reviews provider billing documents, evaluates provider services, facilitates complaint resolution, performs on-site audits, provides recommendations concerning service improvement, contract revision and/or termination; trains and monitors contracted providers for various home and community based programs. Some on-site assessments are done, travel is required with overnight travel on the rare occasion.

Requirements

  • Post high school coursework/training in social work, sociology, counseling, guidance, psychology, child development or related field and experience in resource development, eligibility determination or contract monitoring within a public service organization.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in any of the fields listed above.
  • Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation in order to perform work related travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with NFOCUS, Word, Excel, and OnBase.
  • Ability to work with Policy regulations and guidelines concerning services delivery in programs RD contracts with including SSAD, MLTC, or AD Waiver.
  • Experience managing multiple cases in a fast paced environment.
