About The Position

Prepare alcohol and/or non-alcohol beverages for bar customers. Deliver exceptional customer service by leading with customer connection and responding to customer needs. Manage the service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as company and brand policies and standards. Contribute to a positive team environment. Requirements

  • Experience in the service industry (i.e. restaurant, bar, or hospitality)
  • Experience working as a bartender
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
  • 21+ years of age
  • Valid WSLCB Class 12 Mandatory Alcohol Server Training Permit (MAST Permit)
  • Available to work flexible hours, which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Working knowledge of standard drink recipes
  • Working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
  • Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments
  • Working knowledge of bar equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • High attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to multitask and prioritize is essential
  • Strong ability to create a sophisticated, once in a lifetime immersive experience through storytelling, entertaining, and engaging customers while operating equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive working relationships with team members
