About The Position

An MIT Trainee may start in any department at any one of our facilities. These departments include sales, service, parts, finance, accounting, or at the body shop. Trainees are rotated to different departments based on the current need as well as the preferences and strengths of the individual. Throughout this process, both the MIT Trainee and the management team create the job path that best suits the individual. The ultimate goal is to help give each individual the valuable experience and skills they need to eventually transition into a department manager.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office software, especially Word and Excel.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
  • The position requires regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong analytical skills desired.
  • Knowledge of Accounting software and Inventory software.
  • Field of Study/Work Experience: Business
  • Desired Work Experience: up to 3 years
