Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a related role with experience in hardware and software operations. Educational and progressive work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree at management’s discretion.
  • Ability to identify and solve computer problems and act independently with a wide variety of employees and vendors required.
  • Ability to understand and resolve technical problems independently.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be a United States citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to ensure personal computers and servers (hardware and software) are performing properly; lead system security, operation, and maintenance.
  • Track technology inventory; research specifications and order required hardware/software.
  • Monitor the computer operations’ budget in conjunction with regional I.T. staff.
  • Maintain security administration of systems; assign local domain log-in profiles and passwords.
  • Ensure users have access to appropriate applications and files.
  • Create, maintain, modify, and produce accurate, timely reports using Crystal Reports.
  • Collaborate with the training department to develop and implement system training.
  • Maintain and restore daily backups on LAN.
  • Ensure strict adherence to software licensing rules and maintain careful records.
  • Generate technical reports on utilization, projected needs, and other areas.
  • Travel to other facilities not limited to your home region.
  • Use your general knowledge of telephone systems.
