About The Position

The MIS Architect is responsible for maintaining and designing the company’s billing system.

Requirements

• Experience with ECOM processing and ability to learn the new ECOM process we have launched.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the aptitude to follow instructions as provided and increase current knowledge base.
• Previous experience with ICOMS, GUI, and IAD minimum 1 year, required.
• IBM AS/400 command line experience required.
• General knowledge of database management and able to effectively refer to user guides as needed.
• Expected to be able to learn System Parameters and how they interact with current business practices.
• Flexibility with working hours including overnight maintenance
• Ability to self-manage themselves to successfully complete all work assigned and within the expected timeframe
• Ability to work and complete Projects while effectively communicating with the PM
• Basic troubleshooting skill are required
• Ability to read and update reports as needed
• Proficient with MS Excel, experience with MS Word and other MS Office Applications
• Works well within a small group of peers, interdepartmentally, and with Vendor.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with HELP Systems products such a Robot Scheduler is preferred.
• Telecomm experience, minimum 1 year, a plus.
• Process documentation experience a plus
• SQL knowledge a plus
• MS Visio a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ICOMS billing system and its IBM Host while implementing new processes and features.
• Assist with Data Migrations as well as Standardizing and/or automating various tasks.
• Troubleshoot all ICOMS and related issues to resolution.
• Support various key, customer facing departments with new issues and projects.
• Document new and current department processes and step by step instructional guides.
• Configure, apply, test, and document any requested changes prior to production implementation.
