About The Position

The Ministry Services Associate supports the daily operations of the Church Extension Fund (CEF) by providing administrative, clerical and client support related to ministry loans and Kingdom Investments. This role focuses on accurate processing, timely service, and consistent communication while supporting the broader lending and investment mission of WatersEdge

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
  • Prior experience in administrative support, financial services, banking or loan servicing preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working in database-drive systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • As a Christian organization, WatersEdge qualifies for a religious organization exception to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Therefore, this position requires active membership in a Southern Baptist church (which is defined as a church which is cooperating with Oklahoma Baptists) or in a faith-aligned, evangelical church which declares the Bible as the foundation for its faith and practice.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of Kingdom Investment and the Ministry Loan Program, including opening and closing accounts, processing transactions, preparing monthly and quarterly statements, and providing client support by phone and email
  • Service loan payoffs by preparing and coordinating releases of mortgage, paid promissory notes, and other payoff-related documents related documentation
  • Maintain, track, and verify insurance coverage on collateral properties for new and existing loans
  • Assist in processing interest rate adjustments and loan account changes
  • Prepare and mail any letters, gifts and other correspondence as required
  • Answer loan, investment, and roll-over calls for main phone line
  • Process daily transactions received through Client Connections, email, or other approved channels
  • Input and maintain accurate client data in iPhi and other internal system.
  • Scan, index, and electronically file documents related to the Church Extension Fund in accordance with records retention policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Lending Officer and Vice President, Church Extension Fund.
