MINISTRY ASSOCIATE // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH JOB OBJECTIVES Participates in and completes Eagle Brook’s Pastoral Development Program, including assessments, performance evaluations and skill development benchmarks, within the first 18 months of employment Learns the skills and practices of pastoral ministry and gains leadership skills and spiritual development to succeed in role and prepare to step into the role of Pastor Leads volunteers and attenders to grow in Eagle Brook’s five values: Follow Jesus, Spend Time with God, Connect in Community, Serve Others and Live Generously, in collaboration with their assigned pastor and campus team Trained in multiple campus ministries ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Invests in volunteer Directors and Team Leads, in cooperation with their assigned Pastor, directing volunteers to various resources (website, curriculum, etc.) Invites attenders to use their spiritual gifts to serve God and the Church Executes centrally designed ministry strategies Participates in pastoral onboarding and training for the purpose of becoming a licensed minister Serves as a spiritual influencer and encourager to volunteers and attenders Works with staff at campus to assist with ministry needs of the campus OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Observes various ministries in action, occasionally visiting other campuses Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s nine core beliefs High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 3+ years) 1+ year(s) of experience working in a team setting as a participant or leader 1+ year(s) of experience in ministry as a volunteer Evidence of a Christ-centered life Self-starter Willingness to be placed in a variety of ministries and locations Models growing in faith through Eagle Brook’s five values Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 4+ years) Ministry degree JOB DETAILS Location: to be assigned Status: Non-exempt/hourly Fixed Pay Rate: $23.00 Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Workdays: Saturday – Wednesday or Sunday – Thursday, depending on campus schedule (must be able to meet when volunteers are available or pastoral care is needed) Work Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with evening hours for services, events and meetings Remote Eligible: may be eligible for one day per week Ministry/Department: Campus Ministry Team: to be assigned
