About The Position
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION The Ministry Services Associate will assist in the daily operations of the Church Extension Fund (CEF), including both the loan function and Kingdom Investments. This includes certain clerical duties as assigned. REPORTING The Ministry Services Associate reports to the Chief Lending Officer and Vice President, CEF. Requirements
- This is a full time, non-exempt position
- As a Christian organization, WatersEdge qualifies for a religious organization exception to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Therefore, this position requires active membership in a Southern Baptist church (which is defined as a church which is cooperating with Oklahoma Baptists).
Responsibilities
- Maintain current property insurance information on all active loan client
- Scan documents related to the Church Extension Fund
- Maintain and verify insurance information on property offered as collateral for new loans
- Service loan payoffs including releases of mortgage, paid promissory notes, and any other documents related to loan payoffs
- Prepare and mail any letters or correspondence as necessary
- Answer roll-over calls for main, loan, and Kingdom Investment phone lines
- Aid Director of Loan Administration with loan closings, loan rate adjustments, rate reviews, etc.
- Process daily transactions submitted through Client Connections, by check, or via email
- Input new congregations into iPhi (CRM) while processing new Kingdom Investment and Church Building Loan applications.
- Assist in the administration of Kingdom Investment and church building loan accounts as needed, including processing applications, opening accounts, processing transactions and monthly and quarterly Kingdom Investment and church building loan statements, performing end-of-day transaction review, and engaging in client contact by phone and email
- Mail gifts to Church Building Loan clients after closing
- Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Lending Officer and Vice President, Church Extension Fund.
