About The Position

Join the Keys to Freedom Retreat team as a Guest Services & Ministry Support Assistant, where your organizational skills and warm presence will help create a welcoming, life-giving experience for every guest who walks through our doors. In the Guest Services & Ministry Support Assistant position, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following: General Responsibilities (Year-round): Provide assistance to Keys to Freedom Retreat Director and Assistant Director. Answer incoming calls Retrieve mail from the mailbox on Monday and Tuesday; receive deliveries (USPS, UPS, Federal Express, office supplies, etc.) and contact the appropriate department for pickup Run errands to the Post Office when needed Execute facilities support and miscellaneous projects as assigned Assist Community Relations Manager with community events as needed Retreat Event Responsibilities (January – November): Respond to guests’ housekeeping requests with timeliness and professionalism. Assist with guest check-in / check-out process Assist with lunch and dinner preparation, set-up, clean-up and snack replenishment Assist with upkeep and cleanliness of the facility, both inside and outside Assist with ongoing room set-up throughout retreat events (chairs/tables in dining room, etc.) Maintain clean and orderly workspace in the reception/lobby area Serve our mission by providing exceptional customer service and hospitality to all guests Non-Retreat Week Responsibilities: Wash, and dry all retreat laundry; communicate with the Team when laundry is completed Assist with retreat event reset of bedrooms and the overall facility Track inventory and send re-orders to the Hospitality and Administration Coordinator to be ordered Assist with Printing/compiling nametags and other documents for each retreat (as needed) Maintain ServSafe and CPR certifications Mercy Multiplied exists to provide opportunities for all to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. Mercy’s Residential counseling Program is voluntary, biblically-based, and helps young women ages 13–32 break free from life-controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, and sex trafficking. These residential services are offered free-of-charge. The Mercy Multiplied Center for Wellness and Counseling is Mercy’s free-of-charge Outpatient counseling Program for men and women aged 13 and older. Our Outreach Services train and resource men and women to effectively support and minister to those who are hurting and struggling through workshops, videos, podcasts, discipleship teaching, and other practical resources. The staff at Mercy Multiplied is a team of talented, fun, and hardworking people across four U.S. locations who work together to serve one mission: to provide opportunities and resources for all to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Must be a high school graduate or pass a general education development test (GED)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed. Must be able to communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner, with the ability to set good boundaries.
  • Must be dependable and able to work both independently and with the team to complete projects.
  • Basic computer skills with experience in Word and Excel.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • All positions at Mercy Multiplied require mature Christians with a dedicated work ethic.
