About The Position

The Ministry Coordinator provides administrative, organizational, and project-planning support to assigned ministries. This role assists ministry leadership by coordinating systems, processes, communications, events, and reporting to ensure ministries operate efficiently and effectively. The Ministry Coordinator works collaboratively with ministry leaders, volunteers, and department leadership to support vision execution and ministry growth.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook/Calendar, OneDrive, Zoom, and basic collaboration tools (e.g., Teams).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in ministry, church administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with administrative support, event coordination, or project management strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Vision casting and implementation for children’s group.
  • Develop and sustain a cadre of volunteers to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of ministry activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Department Heads and Group Director.
  • Support new ministry concepts and initiatives in alignment with departmental goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Head and/or Senior Pastor.
  • Assisting with preaching and teaching assignments.
  • Manage all official ministries in the Children’s Group.
  • Manage written or verbal requests, event planning.
  • Responsible for spiritual care and development of children group leaders.
  • Coordinates with all ministry leaders to ensure the department head receives all requests and reports are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Developing trainings and materials.
  • Developing group/ministry programs and concepts.
  • Developing and executing team and leader evaluations.
  • Ensuring maintenance of Church Center& One Church Apps(Ministry Technology).
  • Developing proposals for new initiatives.
  • Developing group and ministry processes and procedures.
  • Developing and manage group/ministry communications.
  • Maintaining and updating SOP as needed.
  • Leading conference planning initiative.
  • Ensure effective use of ministry systems and technology (e.g., Planning Center, CMS, reporting tools).
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
  • Develop ,maintain, and update ministry processes, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating logistics.
  • Coordinate communication between ministry leaders, volunteers, and department leadership.
  • Support the development of training materials and resources.
  • Assist with volunteer coordination as needed to support ministry activities.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports, requests, and required documentation.
