Millwork Inside Sales Representative

About The Position

BPI is seeking a Millwork Inside Sales professional to serve as a primary point of contact for our customers. In this role, you will support our millwork customers by handling incoming requests, entering and managing orders, and ensuring accurate, timely communication throughout the order process. This is a non-commission, inside role focused on customer service, order processing, and ERP-based order management. You will work closely with Territory Managers, operations, and production teams to support customer satisfaction and successful order fulfillment.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales support, or order processing (preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
Strong computer skills with experience using ERP systems for order processing and customer management.

Nice To Haves

General knowledge of construction and remodeling is a plus.
Experience in commercial millwork is a plus.
Familiarity with millwork products, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Handle a high volume of incoming customer calls and emails.
Accurately enter, review, and manage customer orders from receipt through fulfillment.
Understand customer requirements to ensure correct products, specifications, and lead times.
Provide order status updates and respond to customer questions in a timely manner.
Serve as a consistent point of contact for customer support and issue resolution.
Communicate effectively with Territory Managers, production, and operations teams.
Provide accurate product and order information using company systems and tools.
Address customer concerns professionally and help resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain organized records and documentation related to orders and customer interactions.
