NewtekOne is seeking a consultative sales professional to join our inside sales team. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers and will play a key role in shaping their overall experience with Newtek. You will make a high volume of outbound calls and outreach to leads with the goal of identifying client needs, scheduling appointments, understanding each business, uncovering additional product opportunities, and referring qualified engagements to our lending, insurance, payroll, banking, and merchant services teams. A core part of this role is taking the time to truly get to know the client - their business model, how they operate, their challenges, and their goals. You will use a consultative approach to understand both their stated needs and their unforeseen needs, allowing you to present solutions that help them grow revenue, reduce costs, and reduce risk across their operations.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of inside sales or outbound telephone sales experience in a call center environment (financial services preferred).
  • Associate degree
  • Prior experience in banking, lending, merchant, insurance or payroll services
  • Comfortable with being on video camera while engaging with clients/customers, attending company/department meetings, as required.
  • Familiarity with selling multiple products in a cross-sell
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/lead generation
  • Comfortable making high volume outbound calls and working with
  • Strong verbal communication, active listening skills and ability to ask high-impact
  • Ability to understand business models, cash flow, referrals and product
  • High energy, self-starter, goal-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, refer clients and follow through to ensure hand-off
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, lead tracking systems and sales productivity
  • Proficient in Windows based computer applications (Microsoft Office) and internal systems such Newtracker, and external systems such as Glia, Five9

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to warm leads, suspended leads, click-interest leads, and past contact
  • Engage business owners and decision-makers in consultative conversations to uncover their current needs and future growth plans.
  • Enhance customer experience and build relationships by presenting a professional image as you represent the company while being camera ready in accordance with company policies and
  • Understand the client's business, ask high-impact questions, uncover opportunities, then recommend relevant products and facilitate referrals to lending, insurance, payroll, merchant services and
  • Achieve or exceed daily, weekly and monthly call, RID creation, appointment booking, and referral
  • Maintain and update CRM systems/lead trackers and accurate notes, next-step tasks, and follow-up
  • Use scripts and templates appropriately but adapt based on client responses and
  • Jump quickly from one call to the next, minimizing lag time or wasted
  • Collaborate closely with lending, insurance, payroll and banking lines to ensure a smooth delivery of high-quality
  • Participate in training, coaching and feedback sessions to improve call quality, business acumen and product
  • Adhere to all regulatory, compliance and internal policy requirements in every client
