About The Position

The Roller Mill Operator is responsible for running grain processing equipment including grain receiving pits, elevators, conveyor augers, steam controls, mill rolls, peg-feeder motors and more. Rolled corn is the foundation of this cattle feeding enterprise and attention to detail is important. The roller mill operator will work under the guidance of the Mill Manager, Mill Production Supervisor and Mill Mixer Operator. Flake Quality is top priority but the roller Mill Operator must be able to work well with others and take direction. The Roller Mill Operator must keep their area and equipment clean and assist the maintenance team with routine or required maintenance.

High school diploma is not required. Prior work experience demonstrating strong work ethic and follow through a must.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Frequently to Occasionally, the employee must push/pull, reach, bend, run, sit, stand, jump, climb, squat, kneel, lift, carry, twist, grasp/squeeze. Working with or near cattle, horses, vehicles, and equipment in all weather conditions.
