Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or team leadership driving large scale projects in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to work after hours, on-call, or weekends as needed, and travel up to 25%
  • Recently separated from military service or actively serving in the National Guard/Reserve component

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, or Visio
  • Exposure to project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Staff operations, command, department head, senior enlisted advisor experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Interest in pursuing PMP certification
  • Experience or interest in banking, financial services, professional services, and/or software industries
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, and communications across internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Support planning, documentation, and tracking of project milestones, risks, and deliverables
  • Facilitate meetings, manage follow-ups, and maintain project dashboards and reporting tools
  • Assist with project governance, issue escalation, and third-party coordination
  • Contribute to both technical and non-technical projects, depending on your experience and interests
  • Communicate progress clearly and consistently to ensure alignment and transparency
