Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical systems, including fixed and rotating equipment, engines, pumps, generators, compressors, piping, valves, vessels. Identifies and implements reliability, integrity, economic, carbon reduction, and safety improvements for above systems. Performs work of medium complexity and may assist on projects. Receives close supervision only on non-routine and critical aspects of work. General knowledge of Chevron policies and processes. Shale & Tight is accepting applications for the position of Midstream Mechanic located in Tioga, Noth Dakota through April 30th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Central Time). This is a 8/6 position. This is a field mechanic role responsible for performing mechanic duties for rotating equipment maintenance within midstream gas compression / gathering assets. This includes working on various equipment types such as pumps, compressors, engines, motors, blowers, and fans. Responsibilities include interaction with technical specialists, engineering, planning, scheduling, and supply chain to support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and minimizing equipment downtime.
