About The Position

Rincon Middle School is seeking a dynamic Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Teacher for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year. This position focuses on fostering creativity and innovation through a multidisciplinary approach, emphasizing visual, performing, and media arts. Students engage in creative projects that involve the arts and making skills, fostering creativity and problem-solving This is a temporary contract position ending on June 10, 2026.

Benefits

• Based on the selected plan/provider, full-time employees receive family medical coverage, employee life and vision, and employee or family dental coverage. Part-time employees receive benefits equal to the % worked.
• Based on educational units and years of full-time teaching experience. Maximum placement is Class IV, Step 11 (with 10 years of teaching experience).
• The calendar is 185 work days.
• All new employees are on an 11-month pay schedule.
• Returning employees are on a 12-month pay schedule.
